Public Sector and Not For Profit

Wickland Westcott works hand-in-hand with a broad spectrum of Public Sector and Not for Profit organisations, and we enjoy playing our part in helping meet the evolving needs of society. During our four decades of service we have witnessed many social and political developments, most recently the austerity that has demanded a significant change in the skills required by the sector. Today we are seeing fresh approaches to strategic thinking as organisations seek to deliver more with less, whilst ensuring the service user remains central to every decision.

Much of our work helps organisations anticipate and adapt to change, build a more business-minded appreciation of cost and value, and identify and expand revenue streams. This has typically been achieved by recruiting private sector leaders to run large-scale public organisations across the Education, Government, Housing and Cultural sectors, and attracting commercially orientated functional professionals to deliver change. We operate in all the above areas, and in particular have developed a deep understanding of the expertise required in Further and Higher Education environments, social housing and the heritage/visitor services sectors.
