Leading, developing and motivating a team of professional engineers across multiple locations, this role will have responsibility for shaping and implementing a clear and robust asset management strategy in line with the company’s exciting growth plans.  The emphasis of the role, which sits on the senior leadership team, will be on optimising asset availability through the deployment of best-in-class processes and systems whilst overseeing the ongoing delivery of engineering improvements and development projects.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineers and will have proven senior engineering leadership experience gained in an asset-intensive environment, preferably but not essentially covering multiple sites. Relevant sectors include, but are not limited to, utilities, rail, airports, medium/heavy manufacturing and oil & gas/petrochemical.  Candidates must possess a strong leadership profile and highly commercial outlook along with the ability to manage change through others and deliver with pace and urgency.
